Robot Cleaner Review
The build quality of this robot cleaner is impressive, with a sturdy exterior that feels durable. Its compact size makes it easy to maneuver under furniture and into tight spaces, perfect for apartments or homes with limited storage. Cleaning efficiency is excellent, as it effectively picks up dust, pet hair, and debris on both hard floors and carpets. The brushes and suction power perform well even along edges, reducing the need for manual touch-ups. Overall, it’s a reliable and space-saving solution for hassle-free cleaning.

Bonne machine en plus qu’elle nettoie. Met de détecte pas les fils

I wish I had bought one decades ago! It has really made life a lot easier. I’m in a large 2 bedroom apartment with floors throughout. Only a couple of small mats I pick up before cleaning and it takes about an hour to clean the whole place and then makes it’s way back to the charger.
I tried a cheaper model that I bought during prime day but it only worked just okay so I had to return it. Whereas this one does a superb job of cleaning and mopping. I like that all of the dirt is automatically sucked out and is deposited in a vaccuum bag attached to the docking station. It comes with a spare brush, mopping pad and extra vacuum bags.
Highly recommend.

I had a roomba 900 series for four years and loved it but it was quite noisy so I was looking for something that wouldn’t disrupt me while working from home. I chose this one because of the noise level and the dual function of mopping and vacuuming. I thought the self emptying bin was also awesome because I have three pets and had to empty it after each use with my old robot.
Pros:
-ability to customize the map more precisely within the map and designate sweep and mop zones, and no go zones with invisible barriers. My old roomba we had to use a device and it only made one barrier. You can customize so much in detail with this one.
– it’s much quieter than my old roomba but definitely not silent
– the self emptying is very quiet
– my old roomba would die before making it back to the base but yesterday Consuela charged herself up halfway through then resumed the clean and brought herself back to the base.
Cons: maybe she (consuela) just needs to get used to the space more and will continue to learn and adapt like my roomba did, but she rarely is able to make it through an entire clean and back to the base herself even if I pick up the house beforehand to avoid anything getting caught in her. But each time has gotten a bit better as she continues to map the space.
– she is bossy and will scream at you to help her basically until she either dies or you annoyingly have to flip her on her back like a turtle and fish out whatever she’s got, or talk her down from the cliff
– the thing that most bothers me is that this is advertised as a vacuum/mop but it barely holds any water and runs out before finishing. For a device that’s marketed as being a 60-day self emptying bin and dials as a mop, they should have some type of water tank within or attached to the home base so that the water will always be full. Because so far we haven’t been able to mop due to it never having water in it

This Robot vacuum was a pleasant surprise on the upside. Did everything that it was supposed to and then some. The software is awesome. There’s a small learning curve. After a month of use, is still performing like new. Parts are available for cheap. Consumables like the broom and the filters were also bought on Amazon. I put a rocking chair over the base station and it’s able to find its way back to it with no issues. And yes, it transitions from hard floor, to carpet, to rugs, and over thresholds and the bathmats with no problem. Just got to tidy up by getting loose wires/cables and socks off the floor. They tend to get wound up by the spinning broom arm. It’s all part of the learning curve. But with the shedding dog, this has saved me hours every week.

I love this vacuum. I use it every weekend. Does great cleaning my floors. It scans the entire house and goes to work. Saturday cleaning couldn’t be easier. I even took it upstairs and it scans and senses a new area to clean. Awesome. Very happy with this purchase.

I love the fact that after cleaning the machine it empties itself. The suction power is great. I don’t know that I will use the mopping feature but it’s there if I want to.

This is very cool. The dust trap is on top and the water reservoir is on the flip side. The mop part attaches on the back with the mop cloth is velcroed to the bottom. It cleans and mops at tge same time. Sucking up everything in its path while the damp cloth cleans spill spots and foot tracks behind it. The vacuum does a good job and the main vacuum has a lot of power to pull out all tge contents of the dust bin. Great at sucking up shredded pet fur and lightly mopping up children’s dried spills and shoe prints from lvp flooring.

Love this vacuum, I only have to pull out my regular vacuum to get whats behind or under some of my furniture that doesn’t sit up higher, otherwise it sucks up everything in its path. I have 2 cats and it does a great job getting up all the cat hair and food that falls out of their bowls. You need to make sure there’s no electrical cords hanging low or in it’s path. The app is so easy to use and setup a schedule so it cleans the zones you want on the days you want.

$500 down the drain. Worked 5-Star for 31 days in 2.4GHz on a dual-band WiFi router, then it lost dual-band WiFi support the day after I could’ve returned it to Amazon for a refund. Company’s support says the solution is to buy an old WiFi router model that doesn’t support 5GHz.
UPDATE: It’s working again through a dedicated $15 single-band WiFi “extender” configured as an access point. Have to switch the phone to it whenever controlling the vacuum.
PROS: Cleans tile and carpet well. Requires less daily attention than the Roborock S7 it replaced. App is almost as good as Roborock’s (see exceptions below)
CONS:
1. Most 2.4GHz devices are compatible with dual-band/multi-band WiFi, but AIRROBO isn’t.
2. Few sources for bags. Would prefer a bagless system like Shark’s.
3. App has no support for Siri/Shortcuts. Roborock could use Siri & Shortcuts to clean specific rooms hands-free. The AIRROBO app is easy enough for us but grandma misses the simplicity of voice commands.
4. Airrobo connects to Alexa through the Smart Life app for a single function—full house cleaning. We need the Smart Life app for other devices, but Airrobo needed a different login. Many headaches later involving uninstalling and reinstalling routines and apps, we decided we didn’t really need the Airrobo on SmartLife or Alexa anyway because we almost always target specific rooms or combinations of rooms. But if that one function is good enough for your smart home needs, it’s available.

I bought this on prime day for like $300. So I will review it as a $300 system, instead of a $500 system, which I think may be slightly above its fair market value.
App and Setup:
Overall, the LIDAR mapping feature worked excellently, it was easy to connect to WiFi, worked right away out of the box, and the app was easy to use. They also have walkthrough videos if you need the assistance.
Cleaning:
I prepped my space, it did a mapping and cleaning, and then I setup the digital map to be the proper rooms I wanted.
– I like that I can decide what it will do in each room, I have it vacuuming and mopping in the kitchen, and the vacuum at medium power. But then in the living room I have it only vacuuming at max power because of the carpet. This is a great feature that works well.
– I can also schedule it to clean certain rooms at certain times, or double clean a room, which is nice.
– 30square meters for my main floor, and it vacuums and mops 66% and vacuums at high power the other 33% and it usually has 60-65% battery still left over.
– I can’t edit the map as much as I want to, it won’t let me fix “mapping errors” that it creates, but it does update the map each time it cleans and seems to refine it every cleaning.
Cleaning effectiveness:
– vacuum is great, zero issues there and lots of good features to keep the cleaning products working well (like a comb to catch hairs that would get caught).
– the mop is okay. You have to fill the water reservoir manually and it probably lasts two mops in my space. It also is just a pad that slides along the floor, so it won’t scrub or really clean anything super well. But the idea with these sorts of robots is that continued, regular use will do 80-90% of the work, and then you can do the 10% by hand that it can’t handle. Which I think it achieves that goal very well.
Overall, it stands up against the $1,000 model I wanted to get really really well. I wish I didn’t have to manually refill the mop all the time, but other than that it’s been a great experience for a third of the price!
I have a 3 year old toddler and 2 cats. It seems to handle what they throw at it without much issue.
I do take the time to clear the floor before it cleans. Like any robot it will struggle with small toys, strings, etc. that are left behind.

The product works as intended. The mapping can be a little confusing at first but once you get it to do a full map it definitely works. Though it doesn’t seem to empty itself as desired (the function is in the app but doesn’t automatically do it at my set interval) it is pretty decent and can be paired with Alexa.

I was really nervous about buying this vacuum, but I finally made the purchase because I was tired of constantly vacuuming and mopping my house. This vacuum is amazing! All you need to do is download the app, map your house, and then you can relax and enjoy your life. ❤️❤️
