Bought this to help clean out my wood pellet stove. I like it very much and it works well. I was afraid that it would kick up dust during the vacuuming process, but it does not. The only thing I do not like about this vacuum is that the end of the vacuum, the vacuum nozzle, is made of metal and can scratch my pellet stove. I am going to look for a plastic replacement to remedy this. I definitely still would recommend this vacuum for cleaning out a fireplace/pellet stove.

I use this vac for cleaning my pellet stove. It’s small and lightweight. It has great suction and motor is quieter then others I have bought. The only thing I wish it came with is a brush attachment.

The suction is awful. It’s very loud and over heats quicker than it should. I took the one filter out and it worked ok for a few min. Then just wouldn’t pick up the simplest ashes. Unreal. I’ll just buy a cheap vacuum and use it to clean my pellet stove.

This can be considered a handheld vacuum. Doesn’t take up much space when stored and has suction just as good if not better than my shop vac! Very easy to move around and the hepa filter inside and metal hose are great additions.
