This product is a total waste of money. I bought this to stop the robot from going onto the shag rug and getting stuck. But it does not stop the robot at all. The robot just goes over the strip and still getting stuck on the shag rug that I have. I wish that I could return this but i had cut it up and put it around the rug and now I am stuck with a rubber strip that is useless. Save your money this product does not work!!!!!

I have been reading these reviews from people who say this does not work. Bottom line your robot has to be compatible with this otherwise it will not work. I have a shark robot and it senses the magnet and stops. I will say though if you leave a gap between the strip and something else the robot may get into the gap and then stop because it gets confused. When using this thing do not leave a gap. I have a shark robot for those of you who do not you should check with your manufacturer to see if this is what they use. We even created a triangle area where we have the dog bowl and water so that the shark does not bump into the food or water bowl anymore. I just bought another roll of this so that I can prevent the robot from doing other things as well. Highly recommend.

This magnetic boundary strip works better than the boundary strips that came with my Eufy Vacuum. Although it comes in a coil, it lays flat and is VERY easy to put in place. I bought it because I needed a little more boundary areas than Eufy had supplied. I am SO impressed with it I’m considering using it for all my areas and replacing the original strips! Thank You!

My robot came with one strip. With the extra strip I can set more boundaries. It does not work with my Irobot though, just my Laresmart.

The magnetic strips lay nicely and keep the vacuum from getting under chairs. Beds, etc where it doesn’t need to go. Overtime you will need to reposition it as the vacuumn moves it a bit.

I got this to “wall off” different parts of my downstairs for 2 different Shark vacuums to divide their respective cleaning areas. It works awesome for that, I was able to cut one long strip for one opening and a much shorter strip for a doorway. The boundary cuts easily with just a pair of scissors. I attached the strips to the tops of the thresholds in both openings. The vacuums immediately sense the strip when they try to cross the thresholds and back off. Works perfectly.
The only nitpick I have – and it’s a minor one – is that they only include 3-4 double-sided tape strips in the box for attaching the boundary. So I only had enough to attach one boundary piece, and had to get extra tape for the other. Overall, though, this isn’t at all a dealbreaker.
Bottom line, this is a great value and works perfectly for its intended purpose.
