I’m a GC and got two of these for my crew. They’ve been used for about two weeks now and so far they’re holding up better than the yellow magnets I used to get from ABC years ago. Worth the money, it is a little heavy but I believe that the magnets are wrapped with steel and not aluminum like the rest of them. Hoping they last longer !! I definitely recommend these if you’re a GC, Sider or Roofer

It certainly works but I was expecting the magnet to be just a little bit stronger, Also no matter how tight you make the bolt they handle is going to be loose so I’m going to have to get in there and JB weld it so it isn’t flopping around so much because just seems a little finicky and I think that they could have designed it a little better. Certainly works and it’s nice to be able to agitate the ground a little bit while you are picking up metal pieces unlike with a rolling magnetic sweeper. It might actually be powder coat but it’s not the most durable powder coating in my opinion.

Disregard any bad reviews you see about this magnet. It is super super powerful. It is so powerful and a hard time getting the screws and nails off of it. I had to use a metal scraper. The only thing that they could do to make this better would be to make the handle 6 in longer. Other than that it is an excellent buy for the money. Had some work done around my house and they left a bunch of nails and screws this picked them right up used a metal detector scan the area drag that behind me and it pick them right up

Comfortable to handle. Excellent quality. Compact to store when not in use. Perfect for every workshop or a handy home owner.
That Intellect –
Picks up metal well. Used it around the yard and a fire pit area where sometimes nails end up. Didn’t want to blow mower tires. This picked up everything about 2” off the ground.
However the handle is super awkward and really short for anyone. The way the head is, it makes it super awkward to walk and sweep with this. It needs an extra length of handle that’s angled to get the magnetic arm away from the body and to make it so you don’t have to bend over and break your back sweeping the ground. Took a star off. Nothing gets 5 stars from me.

This thing has saved me from getting tires many times! I get my roof replaced every couple years and this has saved me from all the nails that roofers leave behind! I mounted some wheels to it so I can just roll it around and it works perfectly! I would highly recommend you try this magnet sweeper out! Its high quality and easy to assemble!
