   This is a convenient all-in-one tool that is good if you (a) don’t have a strong wet-dry vac and empty spray bottle or (b) don’t want to bother lugging them around / need a more compact solution like this product.

   It doesn’t really have great suction. I mean, maybe compared to other similar spot cleaners, but my shop vac has massively higher suction. Problem is, my shop vac is, you know, in my SHOP, covered with dust and is bulky. I don’t want to have to open it up, take out the filter, clean all the sawdust off of it and lug it around every time I want to clean a little spot on a rug. If you have a good strong regular vacuum, you’ll definitely want to vacuum the rug/carpet very thoroughly before using the SpotClean, and probably after it’s dry too, to be absolutely sure you got out all the dirt.

   Of course, the real key in getting a STAIN out (as opposed to just general cleaning or drying) is what kind of cleaning solution you use, plus how you apply it. Again, the SpotClean is a convenient way to do it, especially if you’re covering a wider area like a small rug. A spray bottle would take FOREVER to cover the same area. You could, however, use a garden sprayer, like the kind you normally load up with herbicide, and just dedicate it to cleaning only. As far as I can tell there’s no restriction on what kinds of cleaning solutions you can put in the tank as long as it doesn’t eat through plastic or rubber, so feel free to use Oxiclean, carpet shampoo, etc. The included bottle of 2x concentrate is enough to last quite a while, especially if you only do little jobs and don’t fill the tank all the way (about 3/4 gal). I don’t think it’s the best stuff for getting out stains, so just use whatever solution your research says is the best.

   I’ve used this on rugs up to 5′ x 7′, and it’s a bit of a workout considering you’re on your hands and knees only covering a 6″ wide strip with each pass. You’re probably better off just using an actual carpet cleaning machine if you’re doing a lot of rugs or a large area of carpet.

   I cleaned a car interior with the SpotClean plus a bottle of homemade heavy-duty carpet cleaning solution (dish soap, rubbing alcohol, Windex, and water). I applied the solution directly from the bottle–a repurposed windshield wiper fluid bottle with a hole poked in the cap–and scrubbed it in with a dish scrubber, the kind with the handle, you know? Then let it sit for 15-20 minutes and vacuumed with the SpotClean. After that I rinsed with plain water and vacuumed again. So much filthy water got vacuumed up, and the carpets looked completely different. I did something similar to a car seat that had an entire 20oz soda spilled and soaked in, and the brown liquid just never seemed to stop pouring out. It’s really gross but satisfying at the same time to see what’s coming out of the fabric.

   Overall, I would recommend this product as a spot cleaner or light wider-area cleaning. If you’re planning on doing a lot, consider buying a good wet-dry vac (especially if you can get some kind of long handle attachment to save getting on your hands and knees) and a garden sprayer instead. They’ll probably cost about the same, be bulkier, but clean much more effectively and quickly.

   Ever since hand held rug cleaners were put on the market I believed I’ve always had one, and this one by far is the best I have yet owned! Let me get straight to the point of my header because that’s why you’re reading this review!

   It’s been my experience that it doesn’t matter what make or model portable rug/upholstery cleaners in in terms of your hose & nozzle head getting clogged. Especially I f you own pets, fur is going to jam it up every time. It also doesn’t matter If you are cleaning a runner or a large area rug. It’s just the nature of the beast. Nozzle heads usually don’t need replacing but they get gross & I’ve tried everything to clean them. Then often you will find that if you can find a hose that the manufacturer hasn’t discontinued, good for you! If not, it is expensive. I figured this tip out years ago when my husband & I could not even afford a hose. We took the whole machine apart. Not only was the base of the hose clogged with fur & other gunk, it extended far into the interior. So, if you think replacing the hose will completely solve your problem, think again. We then of course killed the machine!

   So far, for over at least ten years this has been MY full proof method. Before you begin cleaning, fill a bucket with tap water, cold or hot. If you don’t have the strength to carry that like me, just fill it 1/4 of the way & refill 1/4 of the way & add water when needed. As you are cleaning, every 5 minutes are so, put the nozzle into the bucket of water and make sure it is running freely through the hose. If it’s not, keep pumping water through until it does. After you clean your rug, do it once more. This little bit of upkeep will save you money and a ton of frustration.

   As to this Bissel, many of you probably don’t understand why others rave about the solution tank having a flat bottom. Once you’ve had flat, you never go back! This machine has great suction. Don’t stop passing over the area once you no longer see the foam, that’s when you will really see the dirt come up! It’s design makes it very compact which makes it easy to store and pleasant to look at! One last tip. I purchased the kit for pets. Because of what they track inside, I use both pretreatment solutions. I have been using about 1/3 of the recommended amount of shampoo. By using all 3, your rug will definitely get clean & definitely save you a lot of time sucking up foam. For such messes, I recommend hot water for both the tank & the bucket for obvious reasons!

   I highly recommend this Bissel SpotClean for upholstery and small to medium rugs!

   端的に機能について言ってしまえば、洗剤溶かした水入れた霧吹きと水を吸い込める掃除機で事足ります。少量かつ頻繁に使うのでなければそちらのほうがコストパフォーマンスはよいのではないでしょうか。10000以下で入手できます。じゃあなぜわざわざ3万出してこれを買うのか。霧吹きに相当するシャワー(?)をバキュームがセットになっているため、霧吹いて、バキュームしての手間が省けます。面積が広かったりすると違いが判るのではないでしょうか。
   あと、ほかの方も述べていますが、清掃面は濡れます。ずぶぬれです。シャワーと言いましたがむしろ穴の広がった霧吹きのようにボタボタと水が出てきます。それをバキュームでズォーッと吸うイメージです。乾かさないと座れません。
   まあ、霧吹きでかけてタオルで叩くように、っていう掃除よりははるかにはかどるでしょう。

   Fácil de usar, limpia muy bien, eso si le tuve que pasar muchas veces y es tardado, pero vale la pena invertir en esto para no pagar lavados a domicilio de tapetes, salas, colchones, etc. Lo mejor de este producto es que lo he usado en varios casos de emergencia cuando se me ha tirado el café en el sillón y en la alfombra y rápido la saco y no queda rastro de café en mis muebles. Estoy contenta con mi compra.
