I moved from washing my kitchen floor with buckets and a mop and am very happy I made the switch. This machine is easy to use and maintan, clearns the floor well and also takes a bit of strategy to make it doable to use. I am very happy with how it cleans, easy to to refill the water as needed. long, sturdy power cord. Water heats quickly.
OK, now for the care. The mop, while not heavy, but does create some resistance when push;ed/pulled, making me want to avoid using a “scrubbing” motion with it, along with keeping the “steam trigger” pulled, because it strains the arm. I have taken to using long, slow, smooth motion forward and backward, pausing briefly over dirty spots to let the steam soften them so I don’t have the scrub to get them off. The other thing a user will want to do is to buy multiple replacement mop heads. As hoped, the mop heads get dirty as they clearn the floor—-good deal, dirt on mop, not on floor! And I find myself wantilng to use several mop heads to clean—one for entry floor, one for kitchen, one for another room, as they pick up the dirt so nicely from each floor that i want to start with a clean head.

I will never recommend anyone to buy this product as I’ve waited for this product for a month and then had to wait for the converter. After all this, it didn’t work and had to return the product eventually. Such a waste of time.

Was so excited to receive the BISSELL Power Steamer Heavy Duty 3-in-1 Steam Mop and Handheld SteamShot, 2685A, mostly for the SteamShot hand held part, after visiting a family member who showed how she “easily” cleaned the glass on her toaster oven. Mine was so bad I could not see through it (first picture). After unpacking my new ‘toy’ I got to work. At first I thought it was not working. After 10 min. there was no noticeable change. But after two hours I got it to about 80%(picture 2). It took over 3 hours to get to picture 3 which, to be honest, is not perfect. But it is SO MUCH better than where I started that I am happy.
The BISSELL Power Steamer Heavy Duty 3-in-1 Steam Mop and Handheld SteamShot was easy to assemble. All the parts click together easily and easily come apart. But, they cannot come apart by accident. It comes with an amazing number of attachments, more than the similar BISSELL Powerfresh Slim Steam Mop, 2075A (white and blue). Heats up quickly but for some reason it stops sending steam every 4 – 5 min. After about 30 sec the steam resumes. The power cord is more than long enough to reach everywhere I need. When filled with water the SteamShot is quite heavy and after 3 hours my arm and hand was aching. I was wishing there was a trigger lock for the steam trigger. Holding it down for 3 hours was very uncomfortable. I found myself switching hands and turning it over (yes it works the same upside down).
So, YES, I am happy I bought it and YES, I am keeping it but it is mostly a 4 star rather than a 5 star item just because it was MUCH more work than I expected to clean the toaster oven window. I want to clean the inside of the oven but cannot imagine tackling it today.

Pros
Can be used as a mop and easily disconnects for free hand use with a variety of tips.
It steams well and I just use 3 parts water to one part vinegar to clean.
I have used the portable attachment to clean glass on shower doors, countertops and the barbecue.
I have used the mop to clean floors and shower tile floors.
I had the Kaarcher unit prior to this and it failed on me in the first 6 months. I have been using this unit 3 days a week and it runs like a champ.

This is really not a con but something I would like to see in the future is a full size (12” squeegee attachment). For now I use the steamer tip in the video and a squeegee to do windows.

We had a another little mop with spinny heads, but that didnt work to well. And when the pad wore out, it scratched our floor because we didnt know. This works very well. havent had anything too serious to clean up with it, but it cleans our hardwood great after a vacuum. I like it too because i thought the detach would be nice, for like cleaning our oven, but honestly it doesnt work too well. no easier than just spraying the oven and wiping with a sponge, so I ended up not really using it for that. Also havent tried it in the car or anything, but even if it only ever gets used for the floor, it was money well spent.

This steamer is heavy duty and versatile. I love the attachments even I have not tried every one of them yet. The only downside is that some users may find it a bit heavy. However, I think it is built to last. I used other steam mops before and they are built cheaply and do not last.
