The original cap on my Bissell steam mop broke. I was afraid I would have to buy a new mop. Finding a replacement cap that works as good as the original saved me money (I don’t have to buy a new mop).

Only needed to use one so far after the OEM cap cracked in half. So far the replacement is holding up well and seems more durable than the OEM. May never need to use the second cap, but if I do I have it for that emergency. Well worth the money to continue to use this steam mop.

Tempting as it is to tighten the cap down before flipping the reservoir over, be careful not to go too far and make it split. I recommend having spares on hand. (It is possible that storing my steamer in the garage where it may get warm contributes to the short lifespan.)

The water tank runs out much quicker and the floor gets wetter than mopping. I can’t complain though. The original cap is faulty in breaking so these cheap replacements are not bad. Will order again when these too, break.

I almost shelled out a lot for another steam mop thinking had to replace the whole unit since the original cap cracked over time and found this!! What a nice surprise! Fit perfectly and saved me money!!

I purchased a Bissell steam mop about 4 years ago and the cap to the water reservoir tank recently cracked and broke. I found these on Amazon and they were much less expensive than ordering from Bissell and having to pay shipping costs. The cap fits perfectly and my steam mop works again.

I was surprised when my Bissell mop tank cap developed a large crack but I quickly found a wide range of replacements at prices that varied quite a bit. These were the best buy I found. Haven’t had them long but the one we are currently using fit perfectly and so far is working fine. I was very glad to be able to get these instead of having to think of purchasing a new mop.

I bought this to replace the cap on my Bissell steam mop. I don’t use the mop that often, but it is the second time in a little more than a year I’ve had to replace the cap. They all seem to break and leak in the same area of the cap. Seems to be the weak point in an otherwise great product. Don’t think I could tell this one from the original at first glance, but time will tell how long this cap lasts. Product was delivered on time and packaged properly.
