Love this vac. Does exactly what it claims. If it lasts as long as my old one, I’ll be happy. My old Dirt Devil has bags which I have a hard time getting. This new Devil has a large canister which is so easy to empty.

The suction is as powerful as advertised despite the light weight. Maneuvering is easy. Emptying is easy. I’m short (4’11”), so I wish the extension were longer.

For the price, this vacuum is terrific. The suction power is STRONG. I love that you can detach the hose and wand and use the attachments to get cobwebs on the ceiling etc. I like the size of the dirt cup as well.
Downsides:
– The wand is short. I went onto the Dirt Devil website to order an extension wand; it was a mere
$10 plus $10 in shipping (and several days’ wait). Without the extension wand, you have to bend way over to use the attachments (I have textured rugs and use the wand tool on them) or are limited as to how high you can reach. Why not offer the wand as an add-on with the cord rewind version of the machine?
– Mine does not easily lock into the upright position. It seems like the mechanism is defective.
– Attachments fall off of the holders constantly.
But, again, for the price, I find it an effective, lightweight, versatile vacuum. I find it terrific for the price.

i literally won’t get another vacuum. This picks up pet hair like none other, very strong vacuum. Love the attachments and ability to clean every part. Wonderful and worth it. I prefer it over an expensive one i had before.

super cute and heavy! drawers aren’t deep at all though –
this is my second dirt devil vacuum, but i had a different one before this (first one lasting me 3 years). this one is super lightweight and not as loud as the one i had before. it’s really a great vacuum for my apartment! not sure how it will hold up, only used it once so far, but i am definitely pleased!! and would recommend!
