This is my second Kenmore Intuition vacuum. When the first one was damaged while moving, I did research and bought another Kenmore Intuition.
If the marketing is accurate, what I like about this vacuum is that it has redundant HEPA filtration. The collection bag functions as a HEPA filter, plus the exhaust filter is also a HEPA filter, which means that in principle if the the collection bag tears or is punctured, the exhaust filter will still filter out all the fine particulate dust. This also means that when replacing of the bag, the collected dust, including the fine particulate, should not escape the bag, with the exception of the opening for the house, which they should have provided a round sticker for.
Suction is pretty good and being able to detach the vacuum from the base while using the extension wand has been handy on a few occasions.
This second vacuum appears to have minor differences from the original one, like the latches for the cable. Also it appears to be made of more brittle plastic, but this is purely subjective.

Had for about 4 months, now lift up and wand release buttons stick. Called help number, told to warm with hair dryer. It worked but now they’re stuck again.

It’s easy to assemble and works like a dream! It took me a couple hours to decide which vaccumm to get reading the reviews etc….. Love the light the suction is very good love the pull out handle for hard to reach places edges and cobb webs too. I don’t have pets but have 4 young kiddos and this keeps my home clean and love the air filter I feel fancy😂 compared to my old faithful hoover who still works but is old as dirt😉

After finally replacing my old vacuum that I had for like 20 years, this thing is like a dream. It’s super easy to push, very lightweight (at least compared to my old clunker), and works phenomenally well on all surfaces. The removable cannister wasn’t a feature on my last vacuum and now I don’t know how I survived without it. If I had to quibble, I’d say that it doesn’t secure the extra attachments super well (like the brush extension), so I have to pick them up when they fall off from time to time, but that’s about it. Great value for the money, and great all-around vacuum.

I love that the wand that you put the attachments on is the longest I have ever had. It’s almost the length of the vacuum.
The only thing that I am disappointed about is that the cord doesn’t have a little knotch to hook it on so that it doesn’t hang out to the side. But it can be fixed.

We had a bag-less vacuum for many years. I forgot how good they were, and then Kenmore came up with this truly amazing vacuum.
I have had the old styles from the 60s, 70s, 80’s and 2000s, some being bag and some bag-less styles. Most were upright and one or two were the canister style.
Purchased this model around Christmas and what a surprise!
This Kenmore upright uses an amazing bag system. The bag is actually a thick filter and not just paper. You have a secondary filter for the air as well, but, I have never seen anything as perfected as this vacuum.
The air stays so clean in the house.
No smells, or dust in the air and no fighting with all of the filters, or their dirt, on this bag-less model.
The power is astounding. I have tile floors and notice that dust, hair or small stones are sucked up 3-4 inches before the vacuum is near the spot to be vacuumed.
You can turn the agitator off for your hardwood or tile floors and on for your carpet with a button.
It has an incremental sensor to tell if the bag is getting full and a great LED headlight, which truly helps.
It is a little heavy, but any true tool will be comparable to its purpose with others in your house.
